Just bought an EOS R50 and trying to connect it to an android phone, but failing. When I read the QR code, it says "Failed to connect the camera. Try again from the beginning. Error message Invalid QR code".
I have tried two different android phones, the other one does not read the code (reads it fine with google lens etc. but not the image.canon app). The other one reads it, but gives the above error.
Help please?

Greetings nilind,
The QR code is only if the Canon Camera Connect app is not installed on your mobile device. Do not scan the code from within the Canon Camera Connect app if the app is already installed. On the EOS R50, you may press the SET button to continue when the camera presents the QR code.
If the app is not yet installed on the mobile device, then please visit the Android App Store to download and install it to your device.
The app will provide you with a set up wizard for adding a camera when tapping on the camera icon towards the top left corner of the app screen. You may also view the user guide for the EOS R50 for connecting the camera to a mobile device.
