Hi

I have a Canon camera (80d)

I charged the camera battery

After charging and installing the battery to the camera

The camera turns on but does not focus ( manual and automatic) and shows blur everywhere.

What is the problem?

Can you hear it trying to focus? Could the diopter be misadjusted?

One way to figure out if the dioptre adjustment needs alteration is to look at the information line at the bottom of the viewfinder. If the numbers are blurry, the dioptre needs adjustment.  Use the small wheel to the right of the viewfinder to alter it.  When the numbers are sharp, when you focus, the image should be sharp.

If that is not the issue, we need to know what lens you are using and if it is switched to AF mode.

Does the same thing happen in Live View mode on the rear LCD?

Which lens? Verify that lens is switched to AF.

My lens is 18-135

And i switched the lens to AF

But the camera ahows blur everywhere

1. When you press the shutter button do you hear the lens try and focus?

2. Have you tried to use Live View?

Yes i use live view but ...

I can't hear any sound

OK. If you switch lens to MF and hold the shutter button down halfway (to activate camera) and turn the focusing ring does the lens focus? When you said in Live View no sound, is the image on the LCD fuzzy, as in the viewfinder?

Do you have another lens to try?

If your lens is the 18-135 STM or USM version (check the very front of the lens), you will not hear a focusing sound - the motors are silent.

Did you check the dioptre to make sure the display is in focus?
