Canon R50 Lens Retraction Question

Hello - I recently purchased a new R50. First new camera in a very long time. I am just getting acquainted with it and have a pretty basic question: I have the 18-45 kit lens attached to the camera body and I do not know how to return the lens to the fully retracted position.

I checked the .pdf manual, Youtube & elsewhere in this forum but can't seem to find the answer.

ps I did change the setting in the menu to 'retract lens on power off ' but that does not seem to have any effect.

Thanks in advance.

Is this the RF-S 18-45 f4.5-6.3 IS STM lens? If so, it is manually retracted according to the lens manual.

Thanks very much Bob. (I was not aware of the fact that there is a separate lens manual....go figure). I have downloaded it. Problem solved.
