Hey, so I have locked my camera lens on accident and I have followed directions on how to unlock it, but every time I try it locks back up again. It tells me to push and hold the lens switch and to rotate it, but it only rotated half way to the 15mm. Then I try to rotate it the other way but it locks back up again.

What is the make and model of the stuck lens? You may have to send your camera to Canon for repair.

Push the "unlock" switch up, then twist the barrel to the left until it clicks. To re-lock, push up the switch again and rotate to the right till it clicks. You want to lock it when it's not in use.

I’ve tried that but it doesn’t work. It gets half way to the 15 and it stops rotating.

I think maybe it's time to call support then. 800-OK-CANON (800-652-2666)
