I was wondering what cameras are compatible to a Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6L is USM UD Telephoto Zoom Lens.
because I have a EOS 2000d and was wondering if the lens would be compatible… I am looking to do sports photography!

Short answer: Yes. You can use EF lenses on crop-sensor and full frame EF mount DSLRs. And, with an EF to RF adapter, on RF mount mirrorless cameras.
See Will Lens X Work on Camera Y for details.

"I am looking to do sports photography!"
You can probably get by using it for outdoor daytime sports but you will find it somewhat challenging to do indoor sports with it, or under the lights nighttime outdoor. Not impossible, just a challenge.

It doesn't sound like you're actually looking for a new camera, but a lot of people also use that lens on EF-M mount cameras using an adapter, such as the M50 Mark II.
