mx452 Print both sides doesnt work on my Windows 11

I've had the MX 452 for many years now. It worked with my Windows 10 PC that I used for work, but it wont work on my personal Windows 11 PC. I choose the Print both sides and choose the flip on long edge option, and it ignores me. I have always used this option previously.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer to no avail. It says that it has no new drivers. Please advise?

Thanks for letting us know what Canon product you've got. The PIXMA MX452 is an older model which we have retired. While that means that Canon USA no longer offers direct support for it, your friends here in the Canon Community are welcome to offer suggestions!

I decided to uninstall ALL Canon items...it was a slow process, as there were about 7 or8 of them. Then restarted. After that I went into regedit and saw that there were still files in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE under the Software folders for Canon. I backed up my registry, and then I deleted the Canon folder. I also went into the C: drive under the Program Files(x86) and deleted any Canon files there too. I restarted the PC. I attached a Disk Drive and the CD for my Canon Printer and reinstalled it. I'm happy to say that I tested a Both sides document and it finally worked!!
