My MG 5520 is printing small in top center of page.. How do I fix this?

this morning my printer is printing  pages small at the top and center of the page.. suggestions? How Do I fix this?  

No paper error--but have paper--dirty sensor?

Evidently the belt drives or postions the print head carriage. I can't see how to get it back on the printer and get it working. As far as I can tell nothing is broken. Can anybody give advice to enable a repair?
