TR8620a Can't Duplex Scan to Google Drive

The TR8620a is advertised as having manual 2-sided scanning, as well as ADF scanning. I'm having trouble figuring out how to do ADF manual duplex scanning to Google drive. The option seems to be missing:

Any idea how I can do this?

I don't believe it can:

Greetings ,

According to the specifications, the ADF will take up to 20 sheets simplex and manual two-sided scanning is possible on the platen.

Sorry, I'm not clear what your question is exactly.  What feature appears to be missing? The ability to scan or the ability to scan to Google drive as a destination?  I know John owns this printer so I'm sure he's an excellent resource on it use and features.

Thanks! Yeah, let me state my question again: When I go to make copies, I have the option to use the ADF in manual duplex mode:

I'm trying to figure out how to use that same mode for scanning. Seems like it you can do it for copying, it should be available for scanning.

You need to register your product and contact Canon support. It is apparently how the printer works. We can't answer why here.
