Hello, I have a Pixma G1110 which was working smoothly until before Christmas. Today that I tried to use it after the holiday vacation, it wouldn't print black (although strangely enough it still prints light gray tones). I thought, clogged nozzles and went into properties to make a deep cleaning, however I can't give it any command of those in the maintenance tab. Whenever I order it to print a test page, clean, deep clean, ink test, etc. any of the functions, it gets stuck in the popup that says to not start any other task while it is doing whatever. The "Accept" button is grayed out and the whole PC is frozen, and the only way to get out of it is with task manager, end task of Canon Tools.
OK so I think drivers. Reinstalled them, no luck. Port? I put another older printer (Canon G3000 series), in the same port works fine including maintenance tasks.
I'm out of options and open to suggestions. Please help.
