Pixma MX922 Black printing with a shadow

Hi, 

My black (PGBK) was not printing. So tried to clean the print head, but I could not get it to come back. So I bought another printhead, and this new one prints the black pattern and text with a shadow. The test print looks like this (attached).

Is there a way to adjust that or is that a faulty printhead as well?

Hi thm22,

Blurry printing can be caused by a smudge on the encoder/timing strip.

To clean the encoder/timing strip, please follow the steps outlined in the following Knowledgebase Article available from our web site:
