PIXMA TS5320 says Canon PG-260 Black is not compatible

Just what it says.  Even though the ink brand is Canon.  And even though the printer says this is the ink for this printer, it says it's not compatible when inserting it.  How to troubleshoot?

Hi kirrwed! Thanks for posting in the Canon Community Forum. I see that your PIXMA TS5320 is displaying a message that mentions the PG-260 cartridge is not compatible.

The PG-260 cartridge (Black) is compatible with your model. Since you are getting that message, we recommend that you try turning the printer off and back on. If the same error comes back, please make sure that you are installing the cartridge in the right slot (color cartridge should be installed in the left slot). You should also make sure both cartridges are properly installed. The following section of the manual can help with this:

https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/Manual/All/TS5300%20series/EN/UG/ug-127.html

Should you continue to need help, I recommend that you create a My Canon account and register the printer to see what support options you have. If you have already registered your printer, you can sign into your account to check your support options. You can use the following link to create or open your account:

https://myprofile.americas.canon.com/us/signin

After you create your account and register the printer, you can click on GET SUPPORT (in the left column of the account page) to find out what your support options are. You may still be entitled to Chat or Phone support. They will need to know the exact Error Code that you see at the very top of the printer’s display (above the message):

https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/ErrorCode/TS5300%20series/EN/ERR/err_t_07_01.html?ref=err_t_07_...

I hope this information helps. Thanks again.
