PIXMA TS3122 Support code 1682

Hello, I'm getting error Support code 1682 and other errors indicating ink catridges.  I already change the cartridges and also clean the print heads but still receiving the error.  I was printing okay until I got this error.

Thank you for replying. I ordered genuine Cannon cartidriges and it work. The issue was the generic cartridges were defective.

Hi,

Since you already changed the cartridges and the error does not clear, I recommend performing a reset of the printer. While the printer is on, unplug the power cord from the printer. While the power is off, press the power button 5 times. After 60 seconds plug the power cord back in and power on the printer. 

If  you are using Canon ink designed for this model printer and the error does not clear after the reset, the printer will require service. 

If the printer is in it's 1 year warranty, I recommend reaching out to Canon support for your warranty options. You will need to register your Canon gear HERE to access additional support options.

If the printer is out of warranty, you would qualify for the Canon Upgrade program.
