My PIXMA MX922 went B200 code last week. Talked to Canon and learned it is not something that can be "economically" repaired. After only having the printer for 2 years and using it very little; that's probably what promoted its death. I decided to tear it apart to see how it ticked. I was surprised to find cotton absorbsion pads at the base of the printer specially designed to suck ink up and a drip container, both pretty saturated! So ........................ that's where all my ink goes.
I did buy a new Canon TR8520 through their replacement program, but don't expect it to last very long either based upon reviews and the fact that it cost me almost the same amount as a set of ink cartridges for it. BTW: They give you a second set of ink for free as part of their program. So ...... if it lasts through two set of cartridges - you've got your money back!
WooHoo!
