Canon PIXMA MG6120. I was able to print right before I put on latest Mac update but not scan.. Now can't do anything. So I added the printer again and now I can print, but there is no option to scan.

Hi TLHKayaker,

The PIXMA MG6120 is not supported with macOS v12 (Monterey).  The last operating system that was supported was macOS v10.12 (Sierra).  You are eligible for Canon's Upgrade Program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service, or for some reason are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This option allows you a one-time opportunity to purchase a replacement product, discounted from the list price.

If you would like to take part in this option, please call our Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Monday through Saturday, 9am to 9pm. Let them know you have been working with technical support and the Canon Upgrade Program was offered.

I bought a Macbook Pro macOS Monterey and had the same problem. I went to the drives listed for MG6120 and kept picking a drive until it finally let me choose one. I was able to download the macOS Sierra v 10.12 drive and it worked. I did get the message saying something like it wasn't recommended from Apple but I did it anyway. I'm now able to print again instead of buying a new printer when mine works just fine. So frustrating!
