I have a PIXMA MG2522 printer that I've never had an issue with until now. I bought new ink, tried to reinstall the drivers because I haven't used the printer in a while. When it gets to the point that the computer talks to the printer, I continuously get an error message saying that the computer can't find the printer. I've tried changing USB ports, I've removed the cable from the printer and replugged, and tried uninstalling and reinstalling the print drivers. Nothing helps. The computer still says it can't connect to the printer. Help!

Hi lisafawbush,
With your PIXMA MG2522 powered on, does the error light blink?
If not, please attempt to print a test page. To do this, please hold down the STOP button on your PIXMA MG2522 until the error light blinks 1 time and then let go of the button.
Does the test page print?
