I don't know what happened, but all of a sudden my scanner stopped working. I use Windows 11, didn't change or update this OS, and uninstalled and reinstalled all apps and drivers according to suggestions on Google. I use Wi-Fi. I've used this in the past and now and always worked. The printer works, but when it tries to scan a window box displays:
"Cannot communicate with scanner, scanner is turned off, signal strength is poor due to obstructions, network connection is prohibited by security software, different scanner on network selected."
Code 2,157,50
I've tried all of these suggestions and everything is set right. The weird thing is why all of a sudden it stopped working?

Hi lssellers2,
The 2,157,50 error is caused by security software installed on your computer blocking the incoming data from your PIXMA G7020. Your security software may have gotten an automatic update which is causing this error to occur now. Examples of security software that may be installed on your computer are from Norton, McAfee, WebRoot, TotalAV, etc. Please adjust the settings in that software to allow for the scanner to operate correctly.
