This printer was only delivered 10-02-24. It printed out great up until today. Then I started getting prints like this:
At first, I thought the ink had run out so I replaced all the ink cartridges (although no warning came up that indicated I had run out). It is still printing red photos! Any idea what happened? I do have the 4 year warranty on this printer.

Evidently, the ink cartridges must have been pretty empty, the last time I used the printer, and whatever ink was left, evaporated during that time. I tried a "clean" cycle this morning and a test print and all the colors came thru. Then, I printed a photo and everything looks like it should. Since I installed all the ink tanks yesterday, I will keep a close eye on things. I have always had Canon printers. My last one was the Pixma MG8120, which I just loved. I had that one over 10 years.

Did your computer have an operating system update?

Greetings,
This looks remarkably like double color management.

Yes. Frequently when there is an OS update the printer driver needs to be reinstalled.
