Current problem: My MX920 will not print text, only images. I've done all the cleaning, printing test patterns, aligning the head, etc. And making copies from the glass produces extremely faint images that are unusable, even when I turn the darkness setting all the way up.
From my Mac laptop, I finally figured out that if I turn whatever I want into a pdf and print using the Borderless setting, it will print ok (quality is not as it should be, but usable). It's quite a hassle to always turn everything into a pdf before printing. And photos are horrible quality no matter what I do. From a Word document that has any color images or icons, only the images/icons will print, but all the black text will not print UNLESS I convert to a pdf and print on Borderless as described above.
I checked that I have the latest driver, etc. I am very frustrated. Can anyone help?
