I have a 5D Mark II with the old version 1.1.0 firmware. When I go to download the newest version, there is no download for the current version of Windows (11) but only version 8. If I download that version will it install in my camera properly?

Yes it will. Firmware is operating system agnostic. All that matters is that you use the version correct for your camera. Please post some images shot with your 5D2 when you get a chance.
