DPP4 Auto Lighting Optimizer -- Enhancements not Saved

MarkinPA

Hello:

I am using the DPP4 Auto Lighting Optimizer on jpeg files that were created using the auto settings on a Rebel T7. The pictures look better using this feature, but when I save the picture the changes (making the images brighter) are not saved. What an I doing wrong?

FWIW, I just did a quick test of that feature on one of my Raw=>JPG conversions, and it saved that adjustment to my JPG. It was subtle, but it did apply it to my JPG. I don't normally use DPP for JPG, so I have never used that feature. Not sure what could be happening with yours. Did you use "Convert and save" from the file pulldown? That is the save method that I used.

Perfect! I was just "saving" (Save or Save As) ... "Convert and Save" is what's required!

Thank you!
