I've recently had my XF305 serviced (after a splash from Sydney Harbour). The camera was disassembled and cleaned; everything seems to be working fine except now the zoom ring has become very stiff and developed a loud squeak whilst I turn it. This only happens in manual mode, the rocker motor works smoothly (it's almost as if the motor has not disengaged with the mechanism when I turn it to manual; however, the rocker does not work in manual, it's not just the the switch between isn't taking place). Anyone else have this problem? Is there somethign simple that I'm missing?
