XA40 Camcorder timestamp

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had any experience adding timestamps to a recording? I have several XA40 camcorders which are being used to record wildlife. It is vital that I am able to get the exact time a wildlife encounter occurs on the recording.

Could you use the time code that is already recorded to the clips?  To set that up, see page 69 of the User Guide.
