How do i remove touch decorations from a video?

While recording yesterday I somehow managed to activate the touch screen thing that allows me to draw on the screen and i managed to put a squiggle in the middle of my video. I didn't see it until i had put it on the computer. I have tried clearing the canvas but it didn't remove the squiggle. Is there a way to remove it?

I'm using a Canon Vixia HFR21.

I was recording an interview and didn't have anyone to man the camera. I got set up started the recording. When I got infront of the camera i flipped the view screen around and unknowingly touched the screen and made a white mark on my recording. All i can think is that the touch decoration thing was active when I brushed the screen. I didn't even know that touch decoration feature even existed until I downloaded the video off my camera. the video is still on the camera so is there any way to go remove it ? That white mark of course goes right throu the face of my supjects.

When touch decorations are put into the video, they are permanently recorded in the video and cannot be removed on the camcorder.
