I'm new here and have a question about the compatability of the DM-50 microphone. I have a couple of GL-2's and am thinking of upgrading to the Vixia HF G30. Will the DM-50 mic work with the G30?
The DM-50 is for older models that have the Advanced Accessory Shoe. The VIXIA HF G30 has the Mini Advanced Shoe. The DM-50 will not work on the HF G30, only the newer DM-100.
