It looks like you got a lemon. I hope what you're experiencing isn't a typical issue, especially since Canon L lenses are supposed to be the cream of the crop.

I know it isn't the point of your picture, but I like your steps, bannister, and baseboards. A relative lived in a 1920s era house with similar woodwork which I always found to be beautiful.

The RP I bought in November 2022 came with firmware version 1.6.1, which doesn't look like it's available to the public yet.
