Pixma MG7520 what port needs to be open to print wirelessly

beachITguy

Hello,

I have the Pixma MG7520 under Win 10 and, I was able to print wirelessly with old wireless router.

I recently upgraded to the D-Link DIR895 and can no longer print.

The printer is connected to the network as I can ping the printer using the IP address.

What ports should I open in order to be able to print wirelessly?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello.

The drivers should be reinstalled on your computer in order to allow the printer to be detected properly.

Please perform the following:

1. From the Start menu, click Settings, Devices, Printers and Scanners.

2. Towards the bottom of the Printers and Scanners area, turn off Let Windows manage my default printer.

3. Right-click the Start button and choose the Control Panel.

4. Open Programs and Features.

5. Uninstall the MG7500/MP Drivers and the Canon IJ Network Tool.

6. Close all windows that are open.

Once this has been done, we will reinstall.  Visit the following link to access the MP Drivers for Windows 10:

For future reference, here are the following ports that are needed to access the printer over the network:

80 HTTP
139 NETBIOS
515 Printer
9100 HP_PDL
8611 Canon Printer
8612 Canon Scanner
8613 Canon Fax

I have deleted the driver and Reinstalled. I have even opened all the required ports on my router, all with no joy.

I am able to ping the printer just cannot print.

I get the error that the printer is not responding.

I will call Canon tomorrow to try to figure this out.
