Pixma MG3550 - no IP address

So I am unable to connect (whether via WPS or USB) my new MG3550 printer to my network.

 

The tool comes up with "cannot detect the printer on the network" and the Netwok Info I get is as follows:

So apparently the printer IS connected to my Wifi (LOLZER), but is not getting an IP? Has anyone encountered this issue? The WiFi is an Edimax BR-6475ND. Many thanks!

Turns out I had to upgrade the firmware on my Edimax AP, now it's all OK.

I have the same exact problem! I can´t solve it, idk if is the firmware of my hawuei hg532e or is something with the printer... I am afraid of upgrade the firmware of the modem cuz some people on blogs say tht the upgrade went wrong with their modem 😕
