PIXMA MG3200 will not connect to university wifi

I have a pixma mg3200 for college, and just moved in. Our university uses custom EAS settings and separate profiles for each wifi user. I cannot connect to the wifi with the printer, which means I cannot print with any of my devices. When using the CANON print app, the university wifi does not even show up as an option for the printer to connect to. I really need this for school. Is there any way I can fix this

Hi accursedwraith,

Your university most likely has AP Isolation activated.  The AP Isolation feature confines and restricts clients connected to the
Wi-Fi network. They can’t interact with devices connected to the more secure wired network, nor can they communicate with each other. They can only access the Internet. It is recommended that you contact your univeristies IT department to verify this.  If this is enabled, you can use your PIXMA MG3200 with your computer via USB cable.
