MX922 not finding access point.

JoeR1960

We've had this MX922 for years.  It would loose it's WiFi connection when not used for a while and I would have to perform the Wireless LAN setup.  It always worked.  Now the setup does not see the access point.  My phone, laptop and tablet all see it from the same pace.  Anyone else have this problem?

Thank you for any help.

Greetings,

You need to assign the printer a static IP, or reseve an IP for the printer by its MAC address on your wireless router.

This will maintain "persistence" and keep your router from assigning the printer a new or different IP than what your computer might think it is or was the l;ast time it was used.
