MX472 Cannot Connect Wirelessly

JEA1179
Apprentice

I have two Macs.  One is wired to the MX472 via USB, the other I am trying to connect wirelessly.  The blue light on the printer is on indicating the printer has found the router connection.  The computer does not see the printer.  I have checked all router settings, viewed a few You Tube videos and everything I have done, they have done.  Any ideas?

Hi JEA1179,

So we can better assist you, please print the LAN details page from the printer and let us know the values that display in the WIRELESS LAN, CONNECTION, and SIGNAL STRENGTH fields.  To do this, please follow these steps from the printer's operation panel:

  1. Press the Setup button.  The Setup menu screen is displayed.

  2. Use the LEFTRIGHT button to select Device settings, then press the OK button.

  3. Use the LEFTRIGHT button to select LAN settings, then press the OK button.

  4. Use the LEFTRIGHT button to select Print LAN details, then press the OK button.  The machine starts printing the network setting information.
