MG6620 MAC lost network connection completely. Nothing obvious works.

Printer had functioned properly for some time and now it cannot be found on my network (wireless).  Reinstalled printer and software, reset network connections, nothing works.  WLAN setup says that printer is connected to the access point, but is not seen on the network.  Frustrated.

Hello.

 

Check to make sure that your computer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the printer.  If your router uses both 5.0 and 2.4 GHz frequency bands, you will have to connect the computer to the 2.4 GHz network in order to access the printer.
