MBAir can't find MG5520 printer

I'm helping a friend get their printer set up to print wirelessly.  Using two different MacBook Airs, neither can find the printer on the network, even though the printer shows it successfully connected to the network.  I brought the printer home with me and it works perfectly on our network.  However, when I returned it to their house, it can not be located by my MBA or hers.

When I log in to the router, it shows the printer with 0.0.0.0 as the IP address.

(FYI - My laptop was able to get on their network by just entering their network password, so I don't think this is a firewall or security issue.)

What do I need to do to get the printer recognized by their MBA?  What am I missing?
