Just wndering if anyone know of a receiver capable of receiving the wireless 'fire' signal from the 600EX-RT and connecting up to another flash.
No need for TTL and two way coms of the slave..nice but not necessary.
As most of us, I have a rack of old guns that could be re used as slaves if I could trigger them.
OK, I know that there are other solutions such as optical, or Pocket Wizard or others, but to be able to not have an extra device except for a receiver per slave flash would be great.

If you're stuck using manual for your secondary flashes just pick up a set (or two) of Yongnuo RF-602 radio triggers. They're like $25 on Amazon. So much better than worrying about line of sight with an optical system.

YN-622C gives you ETTL, HSS and all the other goodies.

Yeah, but his old Metz 60 flashes don't, so it's overkill. Allows future expansion, but at the cost of the 602s I wouldn't worry much about that.
However, now that I think about it, if you want to use with the 600 on camera you need a pass through, which the 602s don't have. 603s do though.

nice little devices, but as pointed out the metz gun does not have ttl or such..
I do not use flash very often, hence like the simplicity of the little optical devices I already have and was really hoping for an RT version of the same thing.
I do no studio work, and the only time I really use flash at all is for 'events' like friends weddings..parties and the odd bit of fil in. Only really ever use second off camera remote flash over a dance florr or similar, and probably once or twice in the past few years.
The 600ex-rt was massive overkill for my usage anyway, have been using a baby Metz on camera gun on the 5D3 until now, but wanted more reach. As the supplier I used offered the RT model for the same price as the non-RT 600...I went for the RT version...so was thinking it would be good to make use of the radio side if a device was available.
If not it is not going to impact on my shooting at all.
Thanks for all the imput.
