Hello
I am using my M50 and the webcam utility for a webcam. Sometimes it works great, othertimes the camera will freeze and the image turns pink. Sometimes this takes a minute sometimes a lot longer.
I am on a Macbook Pro running Catalina 10.15.7. I have it plugged into a dock that goes into the Macbook via thunderbolt 3.
Has anyone else had this issue? Find a way to fix it?
Thanks in advance

The dock is probably the issue. Also, there are some Mac apps that interfere with the camera, and can block the canon software from accessing it. Does the regular EOS Utlity run smoothly? It is a good test of the connection.

Nice, I will give it a go plugging it in directly from to the laptop using a usb type a to usb type c converter.
Thanks

So I plugged it into the laptop directly and it is still happening.
Any other ideas? Is there firmware updates or something for the camera?
