Rebel SL2 software buttons greyed out

Hello,

When I am using the mac 4.14.0 software, there are certain features in the tool palette that are greyed out. For instance, I cannot use the adjust face lighting nor the advanced features like shadow/highlight/color tone.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thank you!

Welcome to the forum.

I assume you are referring to the Canon DPP software?

Are you working with RAW images? Certain features are only available for RAW files, not JPEG.

Plus, according to the DPP manual Adjust Face Lighting is only available for EOS R5 and R6 cameras.

You can download the PDF manual from the Canon support site.
