My ImageBrowser EX stopped importing photos

When I upload photos to my computer, ImageBrowser EX will make a folder like it always has but it will be empty.  I have a Mac and am not sure if it correlates to when I updated the IOS to El Capitan or not.  Please help!

Hi dustee_knapp,

You may need to update the Canon CameraWindow.

So we may better assist you, please reply with the following:

  1. Which Canon camera do you have?
  2. Which version of Mac did you have before installing El Capitan?

A surprisingly large percentage of the questions and complaints we get in this forum are from people having trouble uploading pictures from their cameras. Inevitably, the answer is: get a card reader. Card readers are inexpensive, reliable, and easy to use; and they don't run down your camera's battery. It's senseless to keep beating your head against the wall when the solution is so simple and so obvious.
