EOS stopped working after latest windows update

Computers failed to start Canon EOS as of 6/15/2015. Win 7 Pro, Win 7 Home Premium, Win 8.1. Total of 4 computers checked so far, all failed. Looks like just after a windows update. All running the latest version of EOS.

AVG is the problem, turn it off and it works.

Just uninstalled it, hopefully it works!

AVG was the issue...EOS started right up as soon as I uninstalled AVG! Thanks!
