Which camera are we talking about?  What OS are you using?  MAC OS 11 has not been officially released, yet.

Okay, now that we have established that you are not running MAC OS 11, aka Big Sur, I suggest you contact Canon Support with your issue.  They should be able to help you troubleshoot the issue.

Actually it is macOS 11 Big Sur beta.

"Today Apple released macOS Big Sur 11.0 -10.16 (20A4299v) Beta 1" - found via Google.

I have never seen a beta of Canon software posted. Maybe if you contact Canon directly they may have a beta test program you could join.
