When I took the shot, I had thought the heron had caught a fish and dropped it.  LOL

Beautiful! Can you please tell me how close/far away you are when taking the shot of the bee and hummingbird? My daughter is getting frustrated with her beginners camera sx530 rebel power shot. She has to stand at least 5 feet away. Thank you

Hi, for the shots of bee and hummingbird, both were at about 4 feet.  That's about as close as I can get to these things without overly scaring them.  At focal length of 400mm, at 4 feet, the hummingbird was uncropped.  For the bee, I did crop a bit to get to that size.  Regarding your daughter using the SX530...the only problem is whether or not the focus was fast enough to catch these fleeting moments.  Most likely the so-called "Point and Shoot" cameras do not focus fast enough for action wild life.  At least I never could with mine.

EOS 1DX and 1D Mk IV and less lenses then before!

Have you done the update, yet?  Sigma nailed it in the Contemporary.  My lens C focuses faster, quieter, and sharper.

Note the warning to FIRST update the Dock Software.  Highly recommended to update your lens.  You need it.
