imageFORMULA DR-C225 - Attach to E-Mail results in "The request was aborted"

DR-C225 scanner USB connected to a Windows 11 pc, when using the attach to E-mail function it throws "The request was aborted" error. CaptureOnTouch Plug-in for Mail(1.0.5459) is installed. Checked that Outlook is the default App for mail; any suggestions?

Can you confirm your Outlook Client is configured to send/receive email?

What is the size of your attachment?

Yes it is. Size is around 2MB. I had also already looked at the Article you poster the link to, went ahead and increased the max size but no change.

Where did you get this plugIn?  It appears to be quite old.

Was it a stand alone installer or part of the CaptureOnTouch application installer?  

If it was part of COT installer, what version did you install?

Are you in the US?  I don't see this download on the Canon USA website

Installed CaptureOnTouch_Pro_V4.5.3123.329.zip, same issue.
