I have this issue where I need to install 2 software package to make it work. After installing it I can scan a few images. If I let it lay for a while and resume scanning I get a message saying it is turned off…which is weird since this model does not have any switch on/off available.
Then I have to erase the software, reinstall it again, restart the iMac, and the I can scan a few images, and then it fails to recognize the scanner again.
It is such a hassle to make it work. I am about to trash it.
Canon Support suggested me to buy a new Mac 😐
Any ideas?
