I am scanning 35mm slides using a CanoScan 8800F and VueScan 9.8.46.10 on a M2 Mac mini 15.5. The CanoScan uses a 4 slide mask for scanning. I placed 4 slides in the respective slots and pressed "Scan". VueScan took 16.5 min. to scan the 4 slides. Is it possible to scan a single slide in less time? How?
