i cant delete videos off my computer from my vixia HF r700

when i plug in my camra and then try to delete any of the videos it deosnt want to delete. im using windows 10.

Are you trying to use the Windows 10 computer to delete files off of the camcorder?  You shouldn't need to connect to the computer to delete files in the camcorder's memory.  Just go into the camcorder menus and delete the files, without making a connection. 

The Canon device drivers that communicate with the camcorder apparently prevent other applications from writing to the camera's memory.  You can Read, but you cannot Write.  A file deletion would require that a minor write operation be performed.
