We use XA40s for streaming 1 hr weekly. Been using for 3 years with no problems. But lately, the cam cycles on and off. I don't think problem is the power supply, but fear something with camera.
Any suggestions?

Ours just started having the same problem after 5 years. Renders it useless now. Keen to hear if there's a way to fix this

Does it behave the same way if you use a battery? If not it points to the power supply.

We sent it in to Canon. It was expensive but cheaper than a new camera. But they fixed it. Works fine now.

My church had 3 of these. I tested with a different power supply. This cam still did it- so it is not the external power supply. It was an internal board of some kind. Canon fixed it.
