Hello community.
Using I'm using the R5C with the Canon RF 15-35 2.8 IS and Canon RF 24-70 2.8 IS but even with the external power I'm not able to turn on the Optical IS in the camera menu.
It gives me the message: "This function is not compatible with the current lens"
Is there anything else I could do to solve it?
Firmware: R5C 1.0.6.1 | 15-35 1.0.8 | 24-70 1.0.8

I was on the train earlier. 🚆 Its usage is covered on page 96 of the video users guide: These are options in Cinema OS.

That does seem incorrect. Does it matter if the camera is in Stills or Movie mode?
Does this occur without an external power source?
Does the issue occur with any lens?

Thank you for helping, I think I have got the problem.
These lenses do not allow us to enable it through the menu.
They just allowed it by the physical button.
I've tested here and the IS is working even with this message in the menu.

Greetings,
@leofelippi. You are correct. 🙂
The first time I mounted my RF24-70 2 yrs ago I wondered the same thing. All is well.
