Trouble with Pixma Pro-100

Have been getting great results with my Pixma Pro-100 until today.  Now it seems to want to print everything in grayscale and sometimes ejects the paper before printing is complete.  This happens both when using Canon's My Image Garden program which has generally worked very well and I've also tried Print Studio Pro from DPP4 which I seldom use but have had no problem in the past.  The Paper is 5x7 inch Canon and I always use border-less printing.

I've also tried printing from different Windows systems with the same results which suggests to me that the problem is with the printer and NOT the software.

Hoping there is an explanation for something I might have done wrong.

Looks like the grayscale problem was attributed to some clogged nozzles.  What is surprising about this finding is that the grayscale prints were very good.  The result would have been pleasing if that were the intent.  Of course I say that having NO experience in trying to print in grayscale so I don't really know what to expect had that been the intent.

Looks like 3 of the 8 nozzles showed signs of being clogged to different extents.  It took about 4 rounds of nozzle cleaning (2 normal & 2 deep) to get them all to look good in the test printout.
