What and where is the "WPS access point" reqired to use wifi for the PIXMA PRO-100

That doesn't really answer the question to the problem I am having. I have a Pixma Pro-100 which I am trying to configure wirelessly over an Apple Airport Extreme wireless router. I am running OS 10.9 Mavericks. When I inserted the CD I was advised that the version of things on the CD were not compatible and was directed to the web site where and downloaded and installed current recommended software. 

Is the WPS access point button supposedly on the wireless router? if there is none, then what?
