My Pro-1 yelled at me to buy more ink this evening. The last ink I bought was at the Canon store, so I went straight there. I needed matte black among a couple of others, but on the page for Pro-1 inks, there was no matte black. Searching the entire site, I could not find PGI-29MBK anywhere. I popped over to the page about the Canon Pixma Pro-1 and if you look at the inks it says MBK is out of stock. What the heck?
Fortunately, Adorama says it has the ink, and it's all the same pricing, so Adorama got my $250+ ink order. But I can't imagine how the manufacturer of the printer could be out of supplies, and another store have it in stock, with no price difference between the two.
