Canon Pro-100 printed a B&W print of a color photo. The second attempt was a success.

I was printing an ISO 12233 chart and needed to replace the black ink cartridge. That done I printed a color landscape that printed in B&W. The second attempt was a color print. Any ideas?

No thoughts. I never experienced that with many ink replacements. If all is OK now maybe a setting got inadvertently set by the printing software.

You could also try posting in DPReview. A member there (jtoolman) has a lot of experiece with PRO-100s.
