IJ Scan Utility Lite folder access privilege error

Hello. TR8620a connected to MacBook Air running macOS Tahoe 26.3.1.

When I try to scan from computer using IJ Scan Utility Lite I get the following error message:

When I select the Instructions button the following page appears:

The only error message that appears in the Instructions popup is 244. As shown I have authorized full disk access.

Scanner works fine with VueScan so it is not likely an installation or connectivity issue. I did re-install printer just before this scan attempt.

Check Folder Permissions

1. Right-click on the folder where you want to save your scans.
2. Select "Get Info."
3. Ensure that your user account has write access. If not, adjust the permissions accordingly.

Grant Full Disk Access

If the issue continues after checking permissions, you may need to grant full disk access to the IJ Scan Utility Lite or Preview app:

1. Open System Settings.
2. Navigate to Privacy & Security.
3. Find Files & Folders and check if IJ Scan Utility Lite or Preview is listed.
4. If not, go to Full Disk Access and add the app to the list.

Yes. Followed those steps - no resolution.

But, I just updated to macOS 26.4 and problem is resolved.

I also have this problem, and have for some time. Today I updated my OS to Tahoe 26.5, and download the new driver for the Scanlite Utility for my G7020. I also followed all the instructions as above, granting the Utility (and Preview, as suggested) all disk access. This did not fix the issue for me. Any help would be appreciated.

I get the error when I select Auto but not when I select a specific task like Photo or Document.
